Dealing with living, feeling animals here. Here are the terms you need to know before entrusting your furry friend to us:

 

  1. **Pet Owner Responsibility:** By bringing your pet to Scooby Groom, you acknowledge that you’re responsible for their well-being. We love your pets like our own, but we can’t be held liable for any injuries or mishaps that may occur during grooming.

 

  1. **Financial Responsibility:** Any grooming-related medical bills or issues stemming from your pet’s behavior, known or unknown conditions, or stress-related reactions are the owner’s responsibility. We’ll only take responsibility for negligence on our part up to the cost of the grooming service.

 

  1. **Timely Claims:** If you have any concerns, please let us know within 24 hours of the grooming service. We can’t be held accountable for issues that arise beyond this timeframe.

 

  1. **Matted Pet Caution:** Grooming severely matted pets is tough work, and there might be some bruising or irritation afterward. Extra charges may apply, and we won’t be responsible for any cuts or burns on matted areas.

 

  1. **Sanitary Trim Disclaimer:** While rare, some pets may experience discomfort after a sanitary trim. Keep an eye out for excessive scratching or licking, as we can’t be held responsible for any resulting issues.

 

  1. **Pricing and Time:** Prices may vary if your pet requires extra attention or takes longer than expected. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

 

  1. **Behavioral Charges:** Pets with behavioral issues may incur additional charges, and time spent on uncooperative animals will be billed accordingly.

 

  1. **Cleanup Fees:** Pets with excessive bowel movements may require re-bathing, incurring extra charges. Flea or tick treatment will also be administered at an additional cost.

 

  1. **Safety First:** We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet that poses a danger to themselves or our staff. Additionally, we reserve the right to refuse service to any customer for any reason.

 

  1. **Prompt Pickup:** Please pick up your pet promptly after completion. Daycare fees will apply for pets left longer than 35 minutes after completion.

 

  1. **Time Management:** While we strive for efficiency, grooming times may vary. Rushing the process may lead to termination of the groom, with full payment still required.

 

  1. **Satisfaction Guarantee:** If you’re unhappy with your pet’s haircut, let us know within 24 hours, and we’ll schedule a fix-up appointment. No refunds will be issued.

 

  1. **De-shedding Disclaimer:** De-shedding treatments won’t eliminate shedding entirely. Additional brush-outs are available at extra cost if needed.

 

  1. **Safety Precautions:** For your pet’s safety, they’ll be kenneled if you don’t show up for your appointment.

 

  1. **Cancellation Policy:** No-shows or same-day cancellations/reschedules will be charged a $40 fee. Please cancel appointments through the provided link at least 24 hours in advance.
