Our story

Karol and David, the dynamic duo behind Scooby Groom, aren’t just business partners; they’re the perfect blend of passion and expertise, weaving their individual strengths into a tapestry of pet care excellence.
Karol’s journey began with a deep-seated love for animals, nurtured by her veterinary studies. Upon arriving in Canada, she discovered a new passion for transforming pets into works of art. Specializing in cat grooming and Asian dog haircuts, Karol found her calling in the grooming world, merging her love for animals with her eye for beauty.

Meanwhile, David Burgos harbored a burning entrepreneurial spirit, a passion that simmered beneath his corporate career as a risk management consultant. However, upon landing in Canada, David realized the potential to bring Karol’s dreams to life, leveraging their combined expertise in project management. Together, they forged ahead, fueled by their shared love and enthusiasm.

 

In 2021, their journey took a new turn as they embarked on their pet care venture, initially as dog walkers under the banner ‘Happy Paws Toronto.’ Here, they revolutionized the dog walking experience, infusing it with mental and physical stimulation, and chronicling their adventures on social media for all to share.
